Chancellor Lee Roberts joins committee to advise Trump administration on NCAA regulations
President Donald Trump issued an executive order on April 3 that charges some federal agencies in charge of higher education grants with “preserving higher education financial responsibility” as it relates to collegiate sports. Specifically, federal agencies should monitor potential violations of eligibility limits, transfers between institutions, revenue-sharing and improper financial activities.
Faculty Executive Committee discusses artificial intelligence literacy, academic freedom
UNC’s Vice Provost for Artificial Intelligence Jeffrey Bardzell gave a presentation to faculty on how UNC should approach AI in academia, proposing that the University embed AI literacy training into introductory-level classes.

Through these projects I developed skills in filming, editing, visual communication, layout design, and structuring, clear and engaging narratives. I focused on spikeball for the video of Kyle as a way to connect an out-of-state student’s perspectives with ways in which they felt at home at Carolina, one of which was spikeball club. The infographic was catered towards information about spikeball. The video of happiness was actually super fun to make as I interviewed random strangers on their definitions of happiness.
