As a Staff Writer on the University Desk at The Daily Tar Heel, UNC-Chapel Hill’s
student newspaper, I report on campus news, university policies, student-athletes,
and issues impacting the Carolina community. Through interviewing students,
administrators, and community members, I have developed strong storytelling,
research, and communication skills while learning to deliver accurate, engaging
journalism to diverse audiences.
